May I ask why these pages to be deleted and are warring over them? I don't get it. -- American Eagle (talkbureaucratship) 20:52, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

They are a waste of time. Why does any simple wiki needs secret pages? They don't. I requested their speedy deletion, and they were removed. Only admins should remove/decline speedy deletions. If you want these pages hanging around, then so be it. Just don't think for a second that its going to help in the long run. Synergy 20:54, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
"Anyone except a page's creator may contest the speedy deletion of a page by removing the deletion notice from the page." w:en:Wikipedia:Deletion policy#Speedy deletion.
Re the last two sentences of this comment: I'm not sure if it was necessary or useful to talk about what happened on other projects, but if you do need to say something like that, please think about how the person will feel when you choose how to say it. Coppertwig(talk) 01:35, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I know en policies and guidelines. I'm not sure why you're quoting it to me now, since this is simple wikiquote and not en (although what Static did was childish and should not be tolerated; he throws too many fits). As for the last two sentence to my comments I'll say this: The truth hurts. I could have said it much worse because I have tried my hardest to make Static understand the consequences to his actions; he just doesn't seem to care. At this time, this and possibly one other simple spinoff wiki, are the only WMF wiki's he can edit on. He chose this, not anyone else. He has to start thinking about all of this and become a serious editor. If not, then thats fine. You guys seem to be able to tolerate him, so he can stay and play here until you see what I mean. Synergy 23:26, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Now that was worded better, and was less harsh yet, the point is still the same.Reply
I think that on this project, some policies are not written yet, and when a policy for this project is not written yet, I think that then we use the policies of English Wikiquote, Simple English Wikipedia and English Wikipedia. You said "Only admins should remove/decline speedy deletions." Maybe that's a policy I don't know about; in that case, please tell me where the policy is. Or maybe it's just your opinion, which is fine. If you meant that it was just your opinion, I'm sorry that I didn't understand that. Thank you for wording the above less harshly. It's OK to make a point if it really needs to be made. Re this edit summary: again, you could have said it in a more civil way. Regards, Coppertwig(talk) 02:31, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I know it could have been, I chose not to be as civil as I usually am on purpose. You also don't have to point it out every time I do it, unless you are warning me (in which case a block will follow?). Synergy 02:34, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
See w:en:Wikipedia:Civility. "... editors should always treat each other with consideration and respect. ... editors should behave ... courteously", etc. Coppertwig(talk) 02:44, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sandbox

Hi, Synergy. I'd like to ask you about your user page User:Synergy/Sandbox. The guideline w:en:Wikipedia:User page on English Wikipedia says, under "What may I not have on my user page?", "Material that can be viewed as attacking other editors, including the recording of perceived flaws. The compilation of factual evidence (diffs) in user subpages, for purposes such as preparing for a dispute resolution process, is permitted provided the dispute resolution process is started in a timely manner. Users should not maintain in public view negative information on others without very good reason." I'd like to ask whether the page is for dispute resolution in the near future or for something like that. Thanks. Coppertwig(talk) 02:27, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

The userpage was set up as evidence for a community ban. Its not an attack and if it comes off as one, reword it for me. :) Synergy 19:34, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Do you still need this page? I think this kind of information is not supposed to be kept in user space except for a short time while getting ready for a discussion. Also, if American Eagle's comments are not included, then I think even if it's not in user space, the page can be quick-deleted as an attack page. Coppertwig(talk) 15:06, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

RfB thanks

Thank you for voting in my request of bureaucratship (yes, I can spell that now :P). RyanCross has closed the request has "successful" and I have now been granted the bureaucrat flag. Special thanks to my nom, Razorflame. I was not expecting to pass (as I have less support % than my previous RfB). But, I greatly thank you all for this opportunity, I do not plan to let you down. In fact, I promise to do my very best not to. :) God bless, TheAE talk 04:02, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
