- My edit (my first) was most certainly not vandalism. I happened to think --- and am happy to argue --- that the original version of the text I changed more simple than translated version. I could be convinced that the somewhat idiomatic nature of "in your hands" may be better as "you are in control" but I don't see how "do something with it" is not less simple than "use it". I'm happy to have this conversation on the talk page where it would be on topic and was about to do it when my edit was reverted. I understand that that part is all part of the process. But being accused of vandalism (you replaced the otherwise legitimate welcome message with the warning above) leaves me a bit unmotivated to keep editing on this wiki. At least I have a new first-person appreciation of WP:BITE which does not exist and, perhaps, does not apply here. --Benjamin Mako Hill (talk) 23:53, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- I am very sorry for my mistake (I'm also a human). For Bite, you can refer to wikipedia anyways; I don't really care. Our general policy is to retain the original version rather than putting the same thing in the {{simple}} version. Thanks for your understanding and forgive my mistake. Welcome to WQ!
